プロアスリート向けのボディケアマッサージスタジオ神指の広島店の内装計画。ローコストでの高級感が求められました。そこでプロアスリートに対するマッサージの力強さを直線的なレイアウトで、そのしなやかさを壁面意匠の波型の模様で表現しました。また平面計画を直線で構成したことや素材の数を絞り、手に入りやすい安価な材料を用いること、そして業態の特性上、お客様は基本的に天井と床に目を向けているため、天井の照明や床の模様などがノイズにならないように、必要最低限の灯数に絞り、間接照明中心の計画したことなども、意匠を維持しながらのコスト削減に繋がっています。
The interior design for the Hiroshima store of Kamiyubi, a body care massage studio for professional athletes, demanded a sense of luxury on a low budget. To meet this challenge, the studio's design conveys the powerful essence of massages aimed at professional athletes through a linear layout, while the flexibility of the massages is represented by wave-like patterns on the wall surfaces. Furthermore, the decision to structure the floor plan with straight lines, limit the number of materials used, and opt for readily available and inexpensive materials contributes to cost reduction. Additionally, considering the business type, where clients typically focus on the ceiling and floor, the design minimizes potential distractions by limiting the number of lights and focusing on indirect lighting. This approach not only reduces costs but also maintains the intended aesthetic.
